Heart-shaped smoked salmon and pistachio cream cheese sandwich thins


  1. To create the jam, add sugar, baking soda and raspberries to a sauce
    pan and let it boil, then let it rest for about 40 minutes. Then, bring
    the cooked raspberries to medium low heat until it reaches a good
    consistency. Once ready, add chili and lemon to taste. Let it rest.
  2. To create the pistachio cream cheese, mix the cream cheese, olive
    oil, pistachios and the rose water essence and blend it all very well.
  3. Cut the sandwich bread with the heart-shaped cookie cutter, add
    olive oil and place the bread inside the oven at 180°C until golden
  4. Slice the smoked salmon into strips and roll up to make flower shapes.
  5. Assemble your heart shaped appetisers by adding the jam and pistachio cream cheese to the sandwich thin, then top with the smoked salmon. Add mint leaf on top (if using) and and sprinkle with crushed pistachio to finish.
  6. Enjoy the perfect combination of sweet and salty to celebrate Valentine’s however you like, with whoever you like.
