Serving suggestions
Serve with a side of balsamic roasted cherry tomatoes and a selection of steamed vegetables
Best enjoyed by using vine tomatoes brushing them with a little olive oil, splash with a little balsamic vinegar and season with a pinch salt and dried chilli flakes. Then place in the over for around 20 minutes, or until the tomatoes just start to burst. Adding a medley of steamed vegetables is a great way to add a pop of colour and some extra flavour to your dish. Try asparagus, broccoli or green beans.
Make a fresh salad for the table
Throw together a simple salad with crisp lettuce leaves and a light vinaigrette. The cool and refreshing creates a delightful balance.
Pair with a white wine
If you’re creating the dish for guests or a date night, pair with a crisp white wine. The acidity and fruity notes will cut through the richness of the dish.
